Gianni Infantino, President of FIFA, has proposed a consultation of member federations this Monday to reform the structure of the international body, in a letter to the 211 federations, according to AFP. He stated that he will examine the initial proposals at the meeting scheduled for October 15, clarifying that written contributions received subsequently but within a reasonable timeframe will also be reviewed. The UEFA, through its president Philippe Diallo, has requested that any statutory amendment be sent to the Congress. The European Confederation and Concacaf, represented by Aleksander Ceferin and Victor Montagliani, have demanded at least 10 million dollars per federation, amounting to approximately 2.1 billion dollars in total, to finance infrastructure, as well as an independent audit with full access to financial data. Infantino emphasized that he had taken the time to listen before responding to his recipients.
