Marc Pubill leaves Spain training early because of blisters

Marc Pubill left Spain’s training session early on Tuesday 22 September. The Spanish national team were holding their first session since becoming world champions at the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas in Madrid.
The session, watched by a crowd that filled the venue, included three Atlético de Madrid players: Grimaldo, Baena and Marc Pubill. Marcos Llorente had left La Roja a few days earlier.
In an otherwise festive atmosphere, Pubill’s early departure was the only negative from Spain’s training session. The Atlético player felt discomfort in his feet. The RFEF explained that he was suffering from blisters, which prevented him from completing the session normally.
The issue should not rule him out of Spain’s upcoming commitments. La Roja will begin their Nations League campaign on Saturday against England, before two matches in Spain against Croatia and the Czech Republic. They will conclude their participation with a trip to Croatia for the return match against the Balkan national team. Pubill will be able to feature in all of those matches.
