Vivian and Rego make their mark at Anoeta

Vivian and Rego made their mark at Anoeta in the Euskal Herria Txapela final, which brought both players back into the line-up. Terzic said he was pleased to have his defender back and with the options provided by his midfielder.

Rego played the entire match, the only outfield player to feature for 90 minutes. He started in midfield and finished in defence. With a hybrid profile between midfielder and centre-back, he had not yet had any playing time this season before the final. The coach praised his performance.

For Vivian, the match marked a step forward after two and a half months out with an injury dating back to the previous season. Terzic said: « We are very happy that Vivian is back with us. He suffered with pain for a long time and, for the past few weeks, he has been working and training on the pitch without pain. This is the first step. »

The coach also stressed the importance of medical clearance for a gradual return: « It was important when the doctor told us that Vivian could play 15 or 20 minutes. » The return of the two players therefore carried particular significance: Rego was back in the team, while Vivian was able to resume playing after a long period of pain.
