Barça Atlètic come from behind to beat Tudelano and strengthen their lead

Barça Atlètic beat Tudelano 2-1 after coming from behind, strengthening their position at the top of Group 2 in Segunda RFEF. Juliano Belletti’s side have now won three games in a row and lead Osasuna B by one point. Alex Campos and Alex González scored for Barça Atlètic.

Their opponents had been unbeaten at home before the match and initially contained Belletti’s plan, at times with an intensity referee Diego Sarabia Caro allowed to go unpunished. After a throw-in, David Soto caught Iker Rodríguez by surprise and forced Barça Atlètic to raise their tempo. Tudelano then struck again, this time to take the lead.

Barça Atlètic had to wait until the second half to draw level. In the 63rd minute, Alex Campos headed in from an Alex González corner; González had come on for Shane Kluivert. Kluivert had scored twice in the previous round. Pedro Rodríguez had also replaced Villar.

Quer had a goal ruled out for offside, but Barça Atlètic eventually found the winner in the 79th minute. Alex González met Guillem Víctor’s cross with a deft downward header. The victory keeps the leaders’ winning run going and leaves Osasuna B one point behind.
