Real Madrid have wrapped up Arda Güler’s contract extension, according to reports on the agreement. The 21-year-old is currently among the team’s most in-form and important players. The club wants to reward him with a new deal and has been working on the extension for some time.
Fabrizio Romano says the agreement is 100% complete. Güler, whose contract ran until 2029, is expected to sign through 2032, with a pay rise included. Those terms are still being presented as the expected details of the signing.
The Turkish player currently earns around 5.2 million euros gross per year; his salary would rise considerably under the new contract. Romano also reports that the club is preparing to announce the extension, with a media appearance included.
Real Madrid are also continuing work on other contracts. Courtois’s extension is reportedly at an advanced stage, while Bellingham’s deal is another matter the club is pursuing.
