Bayern prepares for life after Neuer and considers Musso

Bayern is already thinking about life after Neuer and the possibility of signing Juan Musso. The goalkeeper could be in his final season at the German club, which is considering a change in goal for next season, although his departure is not presented as confirmed.
Jonas Urbig, 23 and already an international, could take over. The club sees him as a reliable option and wants him to become its first-choice goalkeeper, while also bringing in competition for the position.
If Neuer’s departure is confirmed, Bayern has a list of candidates to strengthen its goalkeeping options. Juan Musso, who plays for Atlético de Madrid, is among them. Oliver Baumann of TSG Hoffenheim, Bernd Leno of FC Fulham and Marvin Schwäbe are also named.
The club is looking for an experienced goalkeeper who can compete with Urbig. Musso fits that profile, but is not looking to change clubs for now. Bayern is due to visit the Metropolitano next month for the fourth matchday of the Champions League league phase; Neuer could still be in goal then.
