Jardí has a direct hand in Real Zaragoza’s attack

Jardí is at the most important point of his career and has played a direct part in 10 of the 12 goals generated by Real Zaragoza so far. That influence puts him at the heart of the club’s story, while his contribution extends beyond the team’s attacking output.

Jardí reads the game, links up with teammates, contributes defensively and poses a threat going forward. His numbers are also making an impression, including on those who focus closely on statistics. The picture is of a player who is now decisive, yet whose profile can also leave coaches weighing their options.

After the win against Teruel, the coach summed up the change in Jardí’s standing with a touch of humour: “In pre-season, he was only Jaime; now he’s Jaume.” The line captures his growing recognition, while his involvement in Real Zaragoza’s goals offers a concrete measure of his current importance.
