Mohamed Samir, known as “Kunta,” says the problem of Ismaily’s registration ban is close to being resolved. The club and Egypt youth national team player also revealed that he had received numerous offers from Egypt and abroad over the past period.
He says he would rather focus on playing than on discussions about his future. His agent is handling the offers, according to Samir. He said he had previously received a serious offer from Sweden as well as one from Egypt, but Ismaily had closed the door on his departure at the time. “I don’t know what will happen in the future, but I am currently at the club,” he added.
On the registration block, the player expressed confidence that the club’s management could bring the crisis to an end. “The registration problem at Ismaily is close to being resolved, and I am convinced the club will regain its natural place,” he said.
Samir also recalled his ties to Ismaily: he came through the club’s academy, starting out in football there before moving up to the first team. He said he was promoted while Miloud Hamdi was the head coach. Samir says he remains attached to the club and wants to give his best on the pitch while awaiting developments over his future.
