Fidalgo has rejoined his team after his matches with Mexico and will be available against Osasuna. For the first fixture after the long international break spanning late September and early October, Pellegrini has almost his entire squad at his disposal: Fidalgo was the last international to return to the group.
Diego Llorente and Bartra have recovered. Pellegrini will still have to make choices for his squad list and decide whether to include Carlos de Roa, a left-back from the reserve team who has trained with the group in recent days.
Junior Firpo is in the treatment room with a muscle injury and is expected to be out for around three weeks. Junior and Ruibal are also unavailable against Osasuna. Ruibal, out since May after surgery on his external meniscus, is continuing his work with the group but will need several more training sessions before he can return to competition.
Fidalgo’s return leaves Pellegrini with almost his full group for the fixture, although Ruibal is not yet ready to return to match action.
