Cholo believes Julián is ready to rediscover his best form

“I see Julián eager to give the best he has,” Cholo says. The coach says he sees enthusiasm in him and believes he is on the right path to rediscover his best form. “Let’s hope he can show it on the pitch,” he adds.

Julián Alvarez’s performances are one of Atlético de Madrid’s uncertainties this season. Barcelona showed strong interest in the player, who was not opposed to leaving the club. The situation unsettled him during the opening weeks of the competition.

Julián Alvarez is among Atlético de Madrid’s most important players at present. Cholo hopes he can return to an important place within the team and, in his words, “take us somewhere different when everything is going well”. His expectation is clear: that the enthusiasm he sees will be reflected on the pitch.
