Jawhar Nabil, the Youth and Sports minister, congratulated Seif Eissa after the taekwondo athlete won bronze at the Paris 2026 Grand Prix. The Olympic champion, a member of the national team, earned the medal in the G6 over-80kg category. The minister’s message followed Eissa’s podium finish at the Paris competition.

Nabil highlighted Eissa’s performance and fighting spirit. He said the achievement added to the taekwondo athlete’s honours and contributed to the standing of Egyptian taekwondo. The minister also said the discipline continued to demonstrate its international superiority, and wished Eissa further success in his upcoming competitions.

Nabil extended his congratulations to the Egyptian Taekwondo Federation, chaired by counsellor Mohamed Mostafa. He also recognised the technical, medical and administrative staff, praising their work with the champions of the Egyptian taekwondo team. The message thus acknowledged both Eissa’s individual result and the support provided to the national athletes.
