Real Madrid face several absences as Mourinho prepares for Villarreal

Real Madrid host Villarreal on Saturday, October 10 at 9 p.m. at the Santiago Bernabéu, in matchday 8 of LaLiga EA Sports. José Mourinho will be without several players: Militão and Mendy are missing in defence, where Huijsen is suspended, while Rodrygo is also unavailable in attack.

The fixture comes after Real Madrid’s defeat to Atlético de Madrid. Fourth in LaLiga EA Sports with 15 points, the Madrid side need a win to ease the doubts and stay in the race for the top spot. Despite the controversies surrounding the club during the international break, they will look to Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior in particular to rediscover their best form and deliver a convincing win for their supporters. The fans will also see the stadium’s renewed pitch.

Mourinho also responded to the possibility of Mbappé being booed: “If you boo Mbappé, it will be a victory for you.” The match will be shown live on DAZN.
