Pau Cubarsí attended the second of Oques Grasses’ four farewell concerts. The Barcelona-born defender had acknowledged on several occasions that the Catalan group was among his favourites. He did not want to miss the chance to see them perform as the band prepares to leave the stage for good.
After the concert, Cubarsí met Josep Montero, Oques Grasses’ singer, backstage at the stadium. The player gave him a Barça shirt, and videos of their meeting are circulating on social media. The singer of Mishima also brought Cubarsí and Lamine Yamal together to talk about music.
Pau said he regularly listens to Catarres and Els Pets. His favourite songs include “La gent que estimo” by Oques Grasses and “Compta amb mi” by Txarango.
Cubarsí was not the only figure from football at the farewell. Oques Grasses will play its final concert this Saturday, the fourth in a row at Montjuïc, bringing to a close a run of shows that drew the defender, a devoted fan of the group.
