Arbeloa suffered another disappointment with Fulham, who were beaten 2-1 after leading 1-0 in the 87th minute. The club remain second-bottom with two points from 18 after six rounds, and are still waiting for their first Premier League win.

Arbeloa celebrated furiously as his first win in the English league appeared closer. But Fulham could not hold on and lost 2-1, with the decisive goal arriving in the 92nd minute.
Arbeloa had brought on Manuel Ángel in the 71st minute, while César Palacios did not get on the pitch. The defeat extends Fulham’s difficult run: after six rounds, their record stands at two draws and four losses. Their first Premier League victory remains elusive.
