Unicaja defeated MoraBanc Andorra 92-84 at Martín Carpena, with Brazdeikis playing a leading role in the win. The team was ahead 47-39 at half-time after building an 18-point lead, but had to stay focused against opponents who kept competing until the end.

Unicaja’s attack was productive from the outset, with a collective effort taking the team beyond 90 points. Pantzar made the most of his place in the starting line-up, while Noua, Perry and Hunt helped open up a gap. MoraBanc Andorra fought back, led by Akinjo and Pustovyi. Brazdeikis and Kravish then helped Unicaja regain control. Noua scored 16 points, Hunt 14, and Kravish, Perry and Pantzar 12 apiece. Akinjo finished with 20 points and 7 assists, while Pustovyi recorded 19 points and 9 rebounds.

Unicaja managed the final quarter despite Andorra’s late attempts to close the gap. The result is its first league win after opening with two defeats, and completes a week in which it claimed two victories; the other came against Juventus Utena in the BCL. The game, part of round 3 of Liga Endesa, was played at Palacio de los Deportes José María Martín Carpena in front of 9,275 spectators.
