The pain was reported after the right-knee injury, which occurred on Saturday night into Sunday. The 23-year-old French player remained on the floor for several minutes as teammates and franchise staff comforted him, before he was taken off the court. He had scored 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 9 minutes of playing time.

While awaiting further examinations, the Kings feared a lengthy absence for their « sophomore », ESPN reported. The severity of the injury and the length of any potential spell out remain to be determined.
