Yasser Zabiri joined Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal among La Liga’s leading scorers after netting his seventh goal of the season on the eighth matchday. The Moroccan forward, who plays for Racing Santander, is now part of the group at the top end of the Spanish league scoring table.
His goal brought Racing Santander level against Valencia in a match that finished 2-2. Zabiri shares second place with Mbappé, Yamal and Sergio Camello, who have each scored seven. Raphinha remains out in front with 12 goals, although the Brazilian missed the matchday through injury. Zabiri is closing in on the leader while establishing himself among the competition’s top scorers.

The eighth matchday also featured a strong contribution from Abdessamad Ezzalzouli. His goal in the 31st minute, Real Betis’s second against Osasuna, took his personal league total for the season to two.
