Barcelona beat Galatasaray 4-1 in the Champions League. After the match, coach Hansi Flick said he was highly satisfied with his team’s performance and reaffirmed his confidence in his players and the quality of the squad.
At the press conference, the German said the display had not surprised him. He believes training sessions give him a clear view of his players’ potential and what the team can produce on the pitch. “No, I’m not surprised by our level. I see the quality in training, and I know the team. I’m totally convinced by my team and by the way we play,” he said.
Flick also described Barcelona’s level as impressive, linking it to the players’ work and their adherence to the technical instructions. In his view, those efforts are clearly reflected in matches.
The win over Galatasaray therefore came with a message of confidence from the coach: Barcelona’s performance matched what he sees day to day and what he believes the team is capable of producing.
