“We have a great group; we are a family,” Catalá said. The Sabadell defender explained that the atmosphere in the dressing room had helped him settle in after arriving this summer. “With the great group we have, with this family, adapting has been very easy thanks to the coach and staff,” he said at a press conference.
Catalá said he now feels more comfortable with the team’s playing style after using pre-season to learn it. He also insisted that he is ready to step in when the coach calls on him and give his all, even if he is not playing as much as he would like.
The defender also spoke about an absence he considers important, both on and off the pitch. He said he wants to remain ready and give everything, whatever decision the coach makes.
Looking ahead to the next fixture, Catalá said the team had been keen to win away from home, but needed to stay grounded and take things day by day. “It would be a mistake to think about anything other than winning on Sunday,” he stressed. He described the group as united and confident, with the aim of securing victory and returning from Burgos with all three points.
