Seat installation is continuing in the third tier of Spotify Camp Nou. FC Barcelona is carrying on with work in the third amphitheatre, where the construction work by Limak is already visibly progressing.
The construction company began installing the seats in mid-September. About three weeks later, the progress can be seen. Images shared by several social media accounts offer an initial sense of the scale the stand will reach. They also show how the Barça crest will be formed by the seats. For now, only a small section is visible.
The work is also expected to increase capacity this season. The season is projected to end with a little over 65,000 seats, between 3,000 and 5,000 more than at present. However, the maximum capacity of about 105,000 spectators will not be reached this season. The ongoing installation is therefore a visible stage in the redevelopment, but the stadium will not yet be at its full capacity.
