Kochorashvili a doubt two days before the Bernabéu meeting

Kochorashvili is being carefully managed two days before the meeting at the Bernabéu, in Spain’s capital. His availability remains uncertain, limiting García Plaza’s options in midfield, where Guridi’s absence is confirmed.

After the coach’s talk on the training-ground pitch, Marcao and Iker Muñoz turned to their recovery rather than joining the session with their teammates. The Georgian also left after the talk, alongside Marcao, Guridi, Sierra and Iker Muñoz.

The coach summed up the squad’s availability: «Isaac is out through suspension, Miguel is injured, Guridi as well, and Kocho will be tested tomorrow. He could be on the bench, or even miss out. Lucas is back; that is more or less where we are.»

In recent matches, the coach has fielded three midfielders together and has usually brought on Jon Guridi to add fresh legs in that area. With Kochorashvili’s status uncertain and Miguel Sierra injured, it is difficult to predict the starting line-up at the Bernabéu. The test planned for the following day should help clarify the Georgian midfielder’s situation, but does not guarantee he will be in the squad.
