Yasser Al-Shahrani has become the player with the most victories in the professional era of the Saudi Roshn League, Al-Arabiya reports. The milestone came after Al-Qadsiah beat Abha 2-1 on Friday in the ninth round, at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.
Al-Shahrani featured for Al-Qadsiah after replacing Ali Diabate, who was injured in the 27th minute. Al-Arabiya puts his league tally in the professional era at 213 matches. Another figure appears in the record: the 34-year-old drew level with Salem Al-Dawsari, who is also credited with 213 victories in the competition’s history.
Al-Shahrani secured most of his victories with Al-Hilal. He joined the club from Al-Qadsiah in 2012 and spent 13 years there before returning to the Eastern team in 2025.
The achievement also recalls Salem Al-Dawsari: an Al-Hilal legend has surpassed his historic Roshn record. The win over Abha is therefore tied to a major individual milestone for Al-Shahrani, although the Saudi Roshn League record tally of 213 victories is also attributed to Al-Dawsari.
