Atletico Madrid responded to Jose Mourinho's criticism of match decisions after their 2-1 defeat against Real Madrid in the Sunday derby. The former Chelsea manager presented images of two incidents which he described as "faults" before the media, particularly a challenge by Lee Kang-in on Federico Valverde. He accused the officials of making errors, stating that the referee, aged 41, had no international experience. The match took place, ending with a final score of 2-1 in favor of Atletico Madrid. Mourinho presented posters showing two tackles which he deemed serious, before Real Madrid were reduced to 10 players five minutes after halftime.
