A two-time Formula 1 world champion, the Brazilian won his titles with Lotus and McLaren in 1972 and 1974. His career, which spanned three decades with further appearances afterwards, also included the 1989 IndyCar championship.
Fittipaldi is also among the few drivers to have raced in Formula 1 for their own team. He now supports his namesake son, who competes in Formula 2 with AIX Racing.
