Amanda Anisimova has responded to comments about her physical change and weight loss by saying that she does not use Ozempic. The 25-year-old American player, whose physical transformation in recent months has prompted suggestions that she is taking weight-loss medication, has asked for posts about her to stop.
“To all the health experts and professional commentators on other people’s bodies writing in the comments: I am not using Ozempic,” wrote the Wimbledon and US Open finalist in 2025 on social media. On Instagram, she added: “Please leave me alone and do not include me in your posts.” On X, she had previously clashed with a user who accused her of being “too fat”.
The WTA world No. 11 regularly shares her physical evolution with more than 522,000 followers on Instagram, including through selfies and photographs. Remarks about her appearance are not new: in 2023, she said she did not understand this “hyperfixation” on her body in daily comments. In 2026, she again denounced “constant cyberbullying”, referring to continual comments about her appearance.
