The legal battle between Kylian Mbappé and PSG has reached its conclusion: French justice has dismissed the complaint the player filed against the club over alleged moral harassment during his final period in Paris.
French media report that the investigation, opened after the player’s lawyers took the matter to court, was closed in May for lack of sufficient evidence. Kylian Mbappé had also withdrawn his complaint. The dismissal therefore closes the legal disputes between the two sides.
The case dates back to the summer of 2023. After announcing that he would not renew his contract, Mbappé was left out of PSG’s first team for several weeks. The club maintained that the sums at issue were linked to a verbal agreement between the player and its president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, which would have allowed Mbappé to return to the group.
The financial dispute had already ended in Mbappé’s favour after PSG withheld certain sums. The dismissal of the moral-harassment complaint therefore closes the other legal front between the player and the Paris club.
