“I think he should change clubs,” Pato advised Endrick. The former Brazilian player has weighed in as the forward’s future at Real Madrid remains uncertain and rumours of a January departure continue to grow.
Pato believes Endrick needs a fresh start. “He needs a change, because it isn’t easy to find him a place at Real Madrid. I don’t know what he thinks about it, but he can’t always leave the decision to his agents. In my opinion, he needs to look for another club,” he said at a sports festival in Trento.
The former player also revealed that Milan wanted to sign Endrick in the most recent summer transfer window. He said Cardinale, Milan’s owner, tried to bring the player to the club but was unsuccessful. “He always thinks about what is best for Milan,” Pato said of Cardinale, adding that they had spoken briefly in Copenhagen a few days earlier. Cardinale cares deeply about Milan and, Pato said, will do everything possible for the club.
