FootballZinédine Zidane begins rebuilding France’s full-back options after two starts against Belgium and Italy
Juventus’s right-back started both matches as Zinédine Zidane looks to broaden France’s choices in the position.

José Luis Morales has found a new club: Real Oviedo have signed the 39-year-old forward through 2027. A free agent since June 30, he is set to begin a fourth spell in Spanish football, following his time at Levante — across three separate spells — as well as Eibar and Villarreal.
The move comes after Chris Ramos suffered a long-term injury. He sustained a right-knee injury during Sunday’s Asturian derby, which Oviedo won 2-0. Ramos has ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament and will miss the rest of the season.
Morales will reunite with Julián Calero, who coached him on 58 occasions at Levante. Their challenge will be to reproduce that successful partnership at Oviedo, who sit tenth in LaLiga Hypermotion with 11 points after eight matchdays.
The new signing completed his medical at Hospital Clínica de Asturias and gave his first comments as a player for the club. “It has been a longer summer than usual,” he said. After a spell without a club, Morales now has a new team and a familiar coach, while Real Oviedo add an experienced player for the remainder of their campaign.
