Granada come from two goals down to beat Real Sociedad B

Granada beat Real Sociedad B 3-2 on Sunday after falling two goals behind. It was the club’s second comeback win of the season, and its first victory in an official match after overturning a two-goal deficit in more than a decade.

At Zubieta, the side coached by José Rojo Martín, known as “Pacheta”, went into the break 2-0 down. They fought back after half-time through a penalty converted by José Arnaiz and a stoppage-time goal from Jorge Pascual. The win over Real Sociedad B ended a run of four matches without a victory and moved Granada into the calmer part of the standings.

Granada appear to be making a habit of having to come from behind: this was Pacheta’s team’s second comeback victory of the season. The club had also gone more than a decade without winning an official match after trailing by two goals. Granada’s next game is away to Burgos next Monday at 16:15.
