Guardiola’s reaction to Manchester City’s conviction is reportedly tied to fears for his reputation and coaching legacy.

A working session held on Monday in Sfax marked the start of the evaluation and upgrade process for Taïeb Mhiri Stadium. The initiative forms part of the Tunisian Football Federation’s drive to bring several stadiums in line with standards adopted by the Confederation. The Sfax venue is among those that have already made significant progress on improvement works and on meeting upgrade requirements.
The meeting took place at the governorate headquarters in Sfax and was chaired by the regional governor. Participants included the Federation’s vice-president, the official responsible for the senior national team, the secretary-general of Sfax municipality, the regional delegate for youth and sports, and several governorate officials.
Those present discussed the technical and logistical requirements. The session was followed by a visit to the venue to inspect the facilities and assess their compliance with the Confederation’s specifications.
The Federation reiterated its commitment to supporting the work and providing the technical assistance needed at Taïeb Mhiri Stadium, which it described as a priority at this stage. It also said it would continue monitoring stadiums and sports facilities nationwide, with the aim of helping Tunisian clubs and national teams play their continental matches in the best possible conditions.
More broadly, the Federation is continuing its contacts and direct efforts with the Confederation and the supervisory authority to speed up approval procedures and complete the upgrade process at the stadiums concerned.
