Ali Mahmoud trains with Al Ahly despite Ammouta’s decision
SportNestra Editorial Teamabout 3 hours ago1 views
Ali Mahmoud took part in Al Ahly’s collective training despite coach Houcine Ammouta’s decision to give the international players a rest after their latest national-team camp. Mahmoud chose to continue his training programme rather than interrupt his sessions.
His involvement comes as the club prepares for its next match against Asyut Petroleum in the Egypt Capital Cup. Al Ahly is continuing its preparations at Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium in Gezira ahead of the fixture, scheduled for next Wednesday. The team is hoping for a positive result in the competition.
Before training began, Ammouta held a brief meeting with the players. The session then included physical and specific drills, followed by an intense practice match. Mahmoud’s participation was part of Al Ahly’s collective preparations, even though the coach had planned a rest period for the internationals.
