Roy Revivo expects Celta match to be emotional for his father

“The match against Celta will be very emotional for my father,” Roy Revivo said. For Roy, however, the occasion will not carry the same significance: “For me, it won’t be special, but perhaps it will be for my father.”

Revivo’s family will be at the match. The player also said he was “excited” about returning to Martínez Valero and seeing Elche’s supporters after a long break caused by international commitments.

Back from a spell with Israel, the full-back described a demanding run of fixtures: “They were difficult matches, four in ten days, but I’m glad to be back here already.” He featured in three of the four games played by his national team.

Revivo also stressed the importance for Elche of resuming after the international break with a positive feeling and good results, while performing at the level the coach expects. He described the atmosphere at Martínez Valero on match days as “crazy.”
