Antony trains separately ahead of Betis’ return

Antony trained separately at Real Betis’ session on Wednesday as the club prepared to return to competition on Sunday against Osasuna at La Cartuja. The squad gathered for another training session at the Ciudad Deportiva Luis del Sol.

The squad is gradually welcoming players back after the lengthy international break. Manuel Pellegrini is shaping his team for a particularly demanding schedule, with Antony remaining a focus.

The separate session has not prompted concern at Betis: as things stand, the club does not consider Antony’s availability against Osasuna to be in danger. The upcoming fixture is therefore being approached without treating his participation as under threat.

Junior and Aitor Ruibal are the only confirmed absentees for Betis in the match. Ruibal is gradually returning to group training, while the club awaits the return of most of its international players.
