The match between Mouloudia de Saïda and Amel de Larbaâ has been postponed. The National Amateur Football League announced the decision after accepting a request from Mouloudia de Saïda’s management. The fixture had been scheduled for Friday.
The club said it sought to give Amel de Larbaâ time to regularise its situation and prepare for its upcoming commitments in the best possible conditions. The postponement was therefore presented as a step intended to help its opponent prepare.
In a statement, Mouloudia de Saïda’s management also explained the values behind its position: « Mouloudia de Saïda’s management confirms that its position stems from its concern to strengthen solidarity, respect and sporting spirit between clubs, and reaffirms its commitment to the fraternal relationship that binds it to Amel de Larbaâ. »
It also expressed the hope that Amel de Larbaâ would overcome the circumstances it faces as soon as possible and continue its sporting journey in the best conditions. The league-approved postponement thus follows Mouloudia de Saïda’s request and comes with a message of support for its opponent.
