Al-Ittihad head into the classic against Al-Hilal with a major concern: international defender Hassan Kadesh is injured, and his availability for the match has not yet been decided. The concern comes as George Ilenikhena has returned to training with the group.

The Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiah reported that Ilenikhena, recovered from an injury sustained with the Nigeria national team during the most recent international break, took part in Al-Ittihad’s team training on Tuesday. The newspaper said he had recovered and could play in the classic as normal.

There is still uncertainty over Kadesh.

Al-Ittihad remain the only unbeaten team this season in the Roshn League.
