Endrick is reportedly giving serious thought to leaving Real Madrid on loan during the next winter transfer window, with Milan said to be his preferred destination if he does move. The possibility remains conditional: the Brazilian forward is said to be open to a new experience, but no departure is presented as decided.

His return to Madrid has not gone as he had hoped. A muscle injury and the arrival of Yan Diomande from Leipzig are said to have complicated his situation, while his limited playing time is weighing on his thinking. Endrick is under contract with Real Madrid until June 2030, but continued lack of minutes could hamper his development and his chances of keeping his place in Brazil’s national team.

Competition for his signature this winter is expected to grow, with Real Madrid having a number of attacking options: Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, Jude Bellingham, Yan Diomande, Carlos Espí, Ibrahim Díaz and Rodrygo Goes. Milan would nevertheless be at the top of Endrick’s list. He is reported to have told the club it would be his preferred choice if he decided to leave on loan.

Milan’s interest is not new: the club had already taken steps to sign him last summer and hopes those contacts will bear fruit in the next transfer window. Links between Roc Nation, the agency representing Endrick, and Gerry Cardinale, Milan’s owner, could influence the decision. The Italian club is also said to need more attacking options after Alexis Saelemaekers’ injury, with his absence expected to last about four months.

Endrick could offer versatility, with the ability to play on the right wing or behind the striker, making him a possible option for Milan in the second half of the season. Several clubs had shown interest last summer, including Milan, Roma, Juventus and Aston Villa. Olympique Lyonnais had also been open to bringing him back after his standout season there. If a loan to Milan goes ahead, Endrick would be reunited with Luka Modrić, who left the Spanish club in summer 2025 at the end of his contract to join the Rossoneri on a free transfer.
