Stassin has returned to ball work on the pitch and could be in contention to return against Levante. On Thursday, Sevilla continued preparations for Monday’s trip to Ciutat de València with another morning training session, where Lucas Stassin was the focus of attention.
The Belgian forward worked with the ball for the first time since sustaining an injury after the match against Deportivo de la Coruña. He is still training separately from the squad. His recovery is proceeding in line with the medical staff’s schedule, and he could rejoin group training on Friday or, at the latest, in Saturday’s session. A return in time for the trip to Levante remains possible, but is not certain.
Meanwhile, two players completed a full, high-intensity session with their teammates and are available for the match against Levante. The two internationals still to return to Sevilla, Gabriel Suazo and Robbie Ure, worked in the gym at the training ground after their extended time away with their national teams.
