Bryan Zaragoza scored his first goal for RCD Espanyol in his fifth appearance for the club. In Málaga, his hometown, the winger found the net in the 13th minute to give his side the lead.
Played in by Javi Hernández on the right edge of the Málaga area, Zaragoza got past Puga and Fernando Calero before beating Alfonso Herrero with a shot to the near post. The goal offered a glimpse of what he can bring to Espanyol.
His future, however, depends on specific conditions. The winger will sign through June 2032 if Espanyol remain in the Primera División for another season and he plays at least 45 minutes in 20 Liga matches. Before that, the club must pay Bayern eight million euros. Bryan had made only seven appearances for the German club after joining in 2024.
