Spotify Camp Nou’s large-scale kitchen makes progress

The large-scale kitchen at Spotify Camp Nou is progressing after weeks of significant advances on the construction site. The international break allowed the 1,500 workers on the project to continue without having to stop for matches. Football is due to return to the stadium today, while the kitchen stands out among the recent developments, including those made during the period of the women’s Clásico.

The progress also matters for food service at the venue. Previously, meals offered by the club had to be prepared outside the Spotify Camp Nou structure, then reheated inside before being served.

Other improvements and tests have accompanied the work. At the women’s Clásico, the club opened new VIP seats, located mainly in the front rows of the second tier. Before the Barcelona-Real Madrid match, the pitch and its drainage system were also put through a durability test. It was the third test so far, and the largest, following the matches against Feyenoord and Racing de Santander.
