Egypt’s national football team for players with dwarfism has begun a training camp in Alexandria ahead of the World Cup. The camp is being held at Abou Qir Youth City as part of preparations for the tournament, scheduled to take place in Rabat, Morocco, in November 2026.

The Egyptian Paralympic Committee is supporting the preparations. The stated aim is to provide the national team with the best possible conditions and pursue an honourable performance. On the field, the programme is intended to raise the players’ technical and physical readiness and strengthen team cohesion before the competition begins.

Hossam El-Din Mostafa, president of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee, said the organisation was committed to providing the team with the resources needed to prepare for the world championship. He also said the Committee pays close attention to the needs of national Paralympic teams and works to remove obstacles they may encounter during their preparation.

For the current period, the Committee president also described suitable training conditions and thorough preparation as priorities. The aim is to give the players the opportunity to perform at their best and represent Egypt honourably at the global event in Morocco.
