Zizo and Ben Cherki could lead Al Ahly’s attack against Zamalek on Sunday evening, in the sixth round of the Egyptian Premier League. Both teams have 13 points: Zamalek sit second, just ahead of third-placed Al Ahly. Their meeting is therefore a direct contest in the fight for the top places, with three important points available.
For the match, Al Ahly coach Hussein Ammouta is expected to rely on an attacking trio of Ahmed Sayed Zizo, Achraf Bencharki and Soufiane Ben Jedida. That line-up remains anticipated rather than confirmed. In midfield, Marwan Attia and Imam Ashour are also expected to help balance the defensive and attacking phases while supporting the team’s forward play.
The standings give the fixture added significance: the clubs are close together and both are pursuing the top places. Al Ahly’s projected selection points to an attacking approach, but it is not yet an official team sheet.
