Bayern Munich’s president has denied a disagreement with Harry Kane over an extension to the striker’s contract. He says negotiations are progressing positively and is optimistic that an agreement will be reached soon.
Reports had suggested a gap over the proposed length of a new deal: Kane reportedly wanted a three-year extension, while Bayern had offered two years. The club’s president, however, denied that the contract length was at the centre of the discussions.
Hainer struck an upbeat note: « Je suis extrêmement optimiste. »
He also said the talks concerned several separate details: « Non, pas du tout. »
