Tunkara’s return gives Belletti a boost. The young midfielder was back in action with Barça Atlètic against SD Logroñés after missing six matches with a ligament injury to his left ankle. Coming on for Catovic, he played around 20 minutes in the 1-0 win and made a positive impression. The appearance was his league debut of the season.
The 16-year-old was injured in Vilanova during a friendly, following a heavy collision and a tackle considered excessive for the nature of the match. His recovery at Ciutat Esportiva has followed the schedule set out from the start.
The club now hopes he will become one of the important players in its reserve side this season. After this first return to action, Tunkara’s comeback offers Belletti an asset as the young midfielder gets back into competition.
