Victor Osimhen is ready to pose a threat to Barcelona again, as he did in Naples. The 27-year-old Nigeria striker arrived at Galatasaray’s training ground on Monday in a Ferrari. He had returned to action on Friday. Barcelona, meanwhile, are seeking a tenth consecutive win this season.
Ahead of Tuesday’s meeting, Okan Buruk promised an ambitious approach against Barcelona. The choices out wide remain uncertain: Rafa Leao and Leroy Sané could feature there, or Yunus Akgün could keep the right-sided role he had against Sporting in Lisbon.
Osimhen’s presence gives the Champions League fixture a particular edge: he had already scored against Barcelona in Naples, in the first leg of the round of 16 in 2023. His recent return adds another point of interest, while the selection on the wings is still unresolved.
