Al-Hilal face Qatar’s Al Sadd tomorrow, Tuesday, in the AFC Champions League Elite. The West Zone fixture, part of the 2026-2027 season’s second round, will be played at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha. Both clubs have previously won the continental title, but they come into this meeting with different priorities.
Al Sadd are looking to recover after a 3-0 defeat to Esteghlal on the opening matchday. Al-Hilal, meanwhile, are targeting a second consecutive win in the competition and a continuation of their strong start. The match therefore pits a side seeking a response against one hoping to build on its early momentum.
The competition’s quarter-finals, semi-finals and final are due to be staged as a centralised tournament in Arabia. For now, the focus is on this West Zone meeting between two teams with continental titles to their names.
