Lamine Yamal has a hand in both Barcelona goals against Galatasaray

Lamine Yamal had a major influence on both Barcelona goals against Galatasaray on matchday two of the Champions League league phase. After the first half ended 1-1, Barcelona struck twice early in the second period, in the 50th and 53rd minutes, moving closer to victory.

The first of those goals came in the 50th minute. Yamal delivered a cross into the penalty area, where Fermín López rose to head the ball home. The goal put Barcelona 2-1 ahead and rewarded their forceful attacking start after the break.

Within minutes, the half-time draw had become a two-goal advantage for Barcelona. Yamal’s creative play helped make the difference, placing him at the heart of the team’s quick attacking surge. Galatasaray were left with a difficult task to get back into the match.
