Bayern let victory slip away in Norway after Michael Olise’s dismissal left his team vulnerable while it was leading 3-2. Known for his composure, the Frenchman was sent off after receiving two bookings in quick succession.
In the 73rd minute, just after Luis Díaz scored to make it 3-2, Olise held back Tripic to stop a counterattack and was shown a first yellow card. Moments later, with the referee watching, he threw the ball into an opponent’s face. The reaction brought a second booking and then a red card.
Down to ten men, Bayern came under pressure from an opponent that made life difficult and eventually drew level. After the match, Kane spoke out and delivered a measured criticism of his teammate. Olise’s dismissal therefore weighed heavily in a closing spell in which Bayern, despite leading 3-2, had to settle for a draw in Norway.
