Raja coach asks for time to fix the team’s shortcomings

Raja’s coach is asking for time to address the team’s shortcomings. After the draw against FUS Rabat, he explained that several absences and some players’ lack of preparation had influenced his tactical choices. He went with the line-up he considered best suited to the match: the team produced a strong first half, then its performance dipped after the break.

He also stressed that the group must keep working to improve its performances and address several weaknesses. Jémez viewed the five points earned across the first three matches as a positive return, while underlining the need to correct problems in the team’s play. In his view, making changes and finding answers will take time and patience.

At this stage of the season, the coach also pointed to the effort players were putting in at training, as well as their fatigue. He believes a balance between physical work and recovery is needed to improve the team’s collective performance.

After the draw, Raja Club Athletic had five points and stood fifth. FUS Rabat, with two points, was in fifteenth place.
