David Mella is Yeremay’s main support as Yeremay continues in the top division while dealing with a pubic injury. He also described Yeremay as more than a teammate and said he is supporting him through this difficult period.
Mella said he sometimes misses playing on the left, where he spent a long time. “Everyone tells me I’ll end up at left-back. I don’t like that and I refuse to think about it. But if I have to play at right-back or on the left, I’ll gladly accept it and work to give my best,” he explained.
Physically, Mella is getting closer to being free of knee pain and is gradually regaining speed. His progress and his support for Yeremay run through his comments: he is moving forward with his recovery while staying alongside his injured teammate.
