Adel Bourabia and Samir Chergui feature in the ranking of the best-rated players at the start of the Ligue 1 season. Published by BeFootball after five rounds, the ranking is based on player ratings awarded by L’Équipe. The two players appear at different positions, with Bourabia near the top and Chergui also among those receiving the strongest marks.
The Mans midfielder is fourth, with an average rating of 6.20 out of 10. His attacking tally in the ranking stands at five contributions: three goals and two assists. That output accompanies a rating that places him among the leading names in the assessment covering the opening five rounds.
Samir Chergui, a defender for Paris FC, is eighth with an average of 6 out of 10. He shares the position with five other players. The names listed alongside him include Lassine Sinayoko and Sadio Sané, described as Monaco’s pair, as well as Pierre Lees-Melou, Lucas Calodja of Mans, and Paris Brunner.
The ranking therefore highlights two different profiles: Bourabia, whose attacking contributions accompany a fourth-place position, and Chergui, who is eighth in a tie with a group of players. The ratings offer an early snapshot after five rounds, while showing a difference between the two players’ averages.
